Snoop dogg net worth: Calvin Cordozar “Snoop Dogg” Broadus Jr. (born October 20, 1971), known professionally as Snoop Dogg, is an American rapper and actor from Long Beach California.

His music career began in 1992 when he was discovered by Dr. Dre and featured on Dre’s solo debut, “Deep Cover”, and then on Dre’s solo debut album, The Chronic.

He has since sold over 23 million albums in the United States and 35 million albums worldwide.

In 2000, Snoop Dogg was cleared of charges of murder, but pled no contest to two felony drug charges. In 2002, he was sentenced to three years probation after being convicted of felony possession of a firearm.

After being released from prison in 2003, Snoop Dogg re-signed with Death Row Records and released his seventh studio album, Paid tha Cost to Be da Boss. In 2004, he starred in the reality television series Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood as a father raising three young children.

In 2005, Snoop Dogg was appointed an executive deputy at the California Department of Parks and Recreation, and in 2006, he released his eighth studio album, Tha Blue Carpet Treatment.

In 2008, Snoop Dogg signed with Warner Bros. Records and released his ninth studio album, Ego Trippin’. In 2009, he appeared on the reality television series Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party as a guest chef.

In 2011, Snoop Dogg released his tenth studio album, Doggumentary. The following year, he starred in the crime film Machete Killsand began hosting the hip hop music talk show Gin & Juice on VH1. In 2015, Snoop Dogg was featured on the ITV2 documentary series 2 Chainz & Snoop: Double Trouble.

Snoop Dogg’s tenth studio album, Doggumentary, was released in 2011 and reached number one on the Top R&B Hops chart.[19] He appeared as a guest star throughout the series from seasons 1-5.
