William “Billy” Slater (born 17 April 1983) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer currently playing for the Melbourne Storm of the National Rugby League.
An Australian international and Queensland State of Origin representative fullback, he has played his whole NRL career to date at Melbourne since 2003.
In 2007 Slater was awarded the Golden Boot Award as the world’s best player.
